By Swanage FC

3-1 Day's Park defeat

Swans 1 Merley Cobham Sports 3
Swans suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Merley Cobham Sports at Day's Park in The Dorset Premier League.

Swans struck after 6 mins when Garan Bennett scored from the penalty spot, however Sports hit back with 2 goals in 4 minute through Josh Buck after 11 minutes and Asa Phillips 3 minutes later. Swans keeper Langdon had to be at his best on several occasions to keep the free scoring visitors at bay and the hard working Cody Rose-Moore was always a threat for the home side at the other end. H.T. 1-2.

Swans were showing real desire to force the equaliser, but Sports were always dangerous and hit the woodwork on a couple of occasions. it was the visitors who extended their lead when Matt Groves capitalised on a defensive mix up from the Swans to score his sides third and put the match beyond the battling home side. Garan Bennett went close with a couple of long range efforts and striker Cody Rose-Moore always looked possible to add to his sides total.
