Swans fielding a depleted side settled well and deservedly took the lead through Tommy Beard after 13 minutes. Top scorer and brother Cameron doubled the lead on 18 minutes. The visitors went close on a couple occasions as did Swan's Elliot Parslow with a long range shot.

Swans enjoyed the lions share of the second half against the plucky Royals and Tommy Beard sealed the win with his second goal following good work from brother Cameron. A pleasing statistic was the second consecutive clean sheet and the attitude of the team.
