Brian looks for new challenge............

First team Head Coach Brian Churchill has announced that he is set to leave his position at the end of this current season.

Brian has been instrumental in Swans’ resurgence under current boss Tim Brown which has culminated in a number of fine Cup runs over the past two seasons.

After initially joining the club in the Summer of 2013, Brian was also key in restabilising the club in the Dorset Premier League after Swanage’s future looked uncertain prior to his appointment along with a new management structure and club officers.

He departed Day’s Park just over two years later however, with the club’s full blessing, to take up a similar role at Verwood Town and helped guide the Potters to Wessex League survival in 2015/16 but left the New Forest outfit at the aforementioned campaigns’ end.

Brian then took some time away from men’s football but continued with his roles in the junior set-up at both Dorchester Town and AFC Bournemouth until Swanage came calling again.

A popular figure with players and supporters (but not match officials), Brian will be sorely missed by everyone involved with Swanage Town & Herston and the club would like to take the opportunity to thank-you for all the hard work and endeavours over your two spells involved with the club.
