Corfe Castle won The Jimmy Hollywood Cup, defeating The Swans 3-1 at Day's Park. This result means the clubs have one victory each with The Swans winning 1-0 last season.

It was alway going to be very difficult with the very hot conditions, however both teams produced an entertaining game. Swans keeper Dan Beeston had to make a couple of good saves and Aaron Atkinson had a good chance but there was very few chances created in the first half H.T. 0-0.

Corfe took the lead after 60 minutes through ex Swan Garan Bennett, this only lasted 2 minutes when Sam Willcocks equalised for The Swans with a close range effort.
The visitors fitness levels were a telling factor as they started dominating proceedings and 2 goals from Brendon Flockton sealed the victory for the newly promoted DPL side Corfe Castle.

The most important factor is the event was a tremendous success and a fantastic amount of money was raised for The Forest Holme Hospice. And the life of the late Jimmy Hollywood was celebrated and remembered.
