Swans Reserves secured their place in the semi-finals of The Dorset Intermediate Cup with a superb 4-2 victory against Portland Town in an entertaining match at Day's Park.
Portland Town opened the scoring after 30 minutes, however Swans hit back 3 minutes before half time courtesy of a penalty from Sam Peacock after Flo Bujour was tripped H.T. 1-1.
Although the sides were very even in the second half but The Swans created the best of the chances. The home side took the lead through a superb goal from Flo Bujour. The visitors hit back with the equaliser following a goalkeeping error. With the game heading for extra time Billy Russell struck a great shot into the corner of the net from an acute angle. With time running out Sam Peacock completed the scoring with a brilliant run and shot to send his side into the semi-finals. Manager Lee James was delighted with his teams performance and attitude.
