Swans Reserves secured 3 away points with a 2-0 win against Portland Town in Dorset League Division 1.
The real winner in the first half was the windy conditions with both sides struggling to create any real chances in a scrappy affair. H.T. 0-0. With the wind in the second half in Swans favour they gradually took control of the game and deservedly took the lead through Sam Peacock from close range. He then became provider setting up 16 years old Isaac Christmas who headed home ten minutes later. The visitors easily held out for the vital 3 points.
A brilliant team performance with Henry counsell and Ryan moss solid at the back and George Taylor looking composed in goal for a clean sheet.
Stand in Manager Jon Gregory was delighted with the performance and result which takes Swans Reserves out of the bottom 2 in their fight against relegation.
