Swans lose 1-0.................

Swans Reserves suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in the Semi-Final of the Dorset Intermediate Cup against hosts AFC Blandford.

Swans Reserves and hosts AFC Blandford played out a goal less first half. Nick Taylor in the Swans goal produced a few good saves to deny the hosts and Flo Bujour and Jamie Holland was always a threat to the Blandford goal. H.T. 0-0.

AFC Blandford snatched the lead, which proved to be the winner 2 minutes into the second half with a spectacular overhead kick. However The Swans proved a hard nut to crack and showed great determination and endeavour which created a couple of good chances of their own. Nick Taylor again produced good saves and defender Charlie Dyke stood strong and produced some brilliant tackles in the centre of the Swans defence.

Overhaul a great team effort which Manager Lee James and Assistant Andy Dunster should be proud of.
