Swans suffered a 4-2 defeat at Day's Park against Mere Town in The Dorset Premier League.
This game was Swans 4th game in a week which proved one too many against a very determined Mere Town side. The Moonrakers took the lead after 7 minutes, however Cameron Beard scored his customary goal to level things after 18 minutes. The visitors were ahead again 2 minutes later with the home side appealing for offside and scored their third 5 minutes before half time with a header. H.T. 1-3.
Aaron Atkinson produced a life line with his goal after 53 minutes, but The Swans had Andy Bartlett sin binned and while the player was off the field for the 10 minute punishment Mere scored number 4 to put the contest out of reach. The referee seemed to want to take centre stage with his fussy decisions and with players on both sides showing frustration he decided to sin bin Cameron and Matt Beard and dismiss Andy Bartlett in the last 5 minutes.
