Superb Cup Final win............

Swans U15s Girls contested The Dorset Plate Final with Verwood U15s Girls at the Blandford School on the 3G pitch in a bitter wind and Snow Showers.

Swans started well with Tyler Gauntlett controlling the midfield, and the team dominated long periods of the first half only to be denied by the Verwood keeper. However it was the Swans Keeper Emily Wilkinson who produced a great save to deny Verwood. Swans finally achieved the breakthrough when Armani Gauntlett won the ball on the left wing then picked out Amy Mawson who smashed it into the top corner to finally beat the Verwood keeper. H.T. 1-0

With the wind easing and the girls getting used to the artificial surface the swans really started to play some good football with Molly Dunster and Amy Mawson making some good runs down the right and left wings. The second goal was courtesy of a great strike from the edge of the box from Tyler Gauntlett following a corner from Amy Mawson. Swans third was produced by Amy Mawson who completed her brace with a great solo run and shot which left the keeper helpless.

Manager Andy Dunster was delighted with the superb team performance and the determination to retain The Dorset Plate.
