Despite Aaron Atkinson's penalty miss Swans had a 2 goal cushion at half time courtesy of goals from Cody Rose-Moore and a header from Jack Watson. Swans were well in control at the beginning of the second half and Aaron Atkinson saw his fierce drive hit the underside of the bar. But they increased their lead with a strike from Matt Dunster. The visitor were thrown a lifeline following a mistake from keeper George Taylor, and with 20 minutes remaining added 2 quick fire goals to equalise. However the Swans scored the winner in the last minute thanks to a deflected shot from Tommy Johnson.

Bright spot for the Swans was the potential shown by teenager Jack Byrom who produced an mature performance well above his young age.
