Swans 2 Blandford United 2
Swans and the Royals shared the points in The Dorset Premier League in a very entertaining clash at Day's Park.
Just like Saturday the Swans were fast out the blocks and opened the scoring after 3 minutes, again the same player Ocean Smith scored with a great finish following good work from Jack Hughes. Visitors keeper Pike produced a great save to deny the lively Cody Moore then debutant Remy Coddington went close. Swans had a narrow escape when Ford hit the post with a diving header. H.T. 1-0.
The Royals equalised 10 minutes after the restart when Tyler Rutton scored. Swans regained the lead in the 75th minute when Jack Hughes long range shot hit the bar and Remy Coddington was on hand to score on his debut. Blandford equalised with 10 minutes remaining when Tyler Rutton completed his brace. Both sides were pressing hard to break the deadlock and Moore had a great chance with a header but just missed the target following good work from Coddington. The impressive Marcus Smith went on a mazy run in the box but his pass was fired over by brother Ocean Smith. At the other end Blandford were just off target with a couple of chances.
A very entertaining Dorset Premier League clash, the 2-2 scoreline being a fair reflection of the game.
