Big Away Defeat........

Sturminster Newton United 7 Swans 2

Swans suffered a 7-2 defeat against Sturminster Newton United at Barnett's Field in The Jewson Dorset Premier League.

Swans produced a positive start when Ocean Smith's shot hit the bar on 9 minutes then a minute later the same player saw his shot from fully 25 yards fly into the top corner to put his side ahead. The Cherries hit back through Billy Bright with a header and went ahead through another set piece by Neil Sweetman from close range. Swans were struggling to defend Newton's set pieces and added number 4 courtesy of Jamie Danoris. Swans went close themselves when Cody Moore, Remy Coddington and Jack Hughes all just missed the target. Swans reduced the arrears before the break with a neat finish from Remy Coddington. H.T. 4-2.

Sturminster added 3 more goals in the second half through Will Guppy, Elliot Bevis and an own goal to heap more misery on the Swans. However it wasn't all one way and the visitors never gave up and went close through Cody Moore, Aaron Merredew and Remy Coddington.
