Thirteen's Unlucky For Marshall.........

Sturminster Marshall 0 Swanage Town & Herston 13

SWANS cantered to a huge victory at the Jewson Dorset Premier League's bottom side after a much-improved second-half performance at Churchill Close.

With Sturminster Marshall losing their last three matches by double-figure scores, hopes were high that the visitors would be able to make it four away wins in a row.
Swans produced a fine start when Cody Moore scored the opening goal early on via a deflection, with Ocean Smith grabbing his first of the afternoon soon after.
Dan Reeks got the goal his tireless running deserved to make it three and Moore tucked in for No.4 but it was only after the break, with the half-time introduction of Jack Hughes and Joey Towers, that Swans intensified their play. H.T. 0-4.

It was clear they had upped the tempo in a bid to find more goals in the second period and just seven minutes into the half, Reeks put over a cross from the right wing for Brad Smith to head home.
A minute later, it was 6-0 as Moore provided the pass for Ocean Smith to slide in his second and just two minutes after that, Charlie Dyke got his name on the scoresheet with a header from Ashley Cope's corner.

A spell of four goals in five minutes concluded with Reeks cutting the ball back for Ocean Smith to complete his hat-trick with a simple finish.
Sturminster's otherwise very impressive young goalkeeper made a bad mistake for the ninth on 67 minutes as he allowed substitute Aaron Merredew an easy opportunity to score, which he duly did.
Double figures was notched up when the confidentCody Moore made it a hat-trick with a delightful flick of the outside of his boot from just inside the box.
With 13 minutes to go, Jack Hughes provided a strike to rival Moore for the goal of the game, curling a superb effort beyond the goalkeeper from outside the penalty area.
And it was 12-0 with five minutes left. A needless trip on Merredew, who was moving away from goal, handed Charlie Brassington a penalty which he converted.
The hosts' inability to clear their lines came back to haunt them again and again, not least two minutes from time as Swans hit the post twice in the same move before Joey Towers was eventually left to drill the ball in and complete the scoring.
There was still time for the home No.9, who had been booked in fouling Merredew for the spot-kick, to receive a second yellow card and then a red, for dissent in injury time.
For Sturminster, who had lost 19-1 to Blandford United recently, it could have been worse but for some good saves from their keeper. Taylor Hibbs at the other end had a quiet afternoon but was still called upon to make a decent stop.
Thankfully for Swans, their second-half display gave them their rewards in the end but credit to Sturminster for carrying on and not losing their discipline when they must have been demoralised.
