Swans 0 Holt United 2
Swans suffered a 2-0 defeat to Holt United in an entertaining clash in front of a 200 plus crowd at Day's Park in The Dorset Premier League.
Swans welcomed back key player Ogun Gundogdu after 6 weeks following his injury. Both sides started positively and Cody Moore had his effort saved by Holt stopper Goad Lucas, then it was the turn of Swans keeper Taylor Hibbs to save from Garard. Swans Cody Moore was a constant threat and carved out a great chance, however Paul Best just missed the cross. Paul Best produced a good pass for Charlie Brassington who had his long range effort tipped over by Lucas. Ogun Gundogdu went close with a header when well placed and the same player hit the cross bar with another header following a corner. Swans suffered heartbreak against the run of play when a minute before the interval Holt's George Ashby headed home. H.T. 0-1.
A minute into the half Cory Elwick scored from close range when Swans failed to defend the cross. Although the Swans battled hard in the second half both sides seemed to cancel each other out and very few chances were created. Taylor Hibbs had to be at his best with a smart save and Lucas in the visitors goal saved from Jack Tornianen following a great run past 3 defenders. The defeat meant the Swans dropped one place to seventh in the table.
