Wareham Rangers Reserves 0 Swans Reserves 6
Swans Reserves demolished Purbeck rivals Wareham Rangers Reserves 6-0 at The Purbeck Sports Centre in Dorset League Division 1.
Swans took 31 minutes to take the lead in a scrappy first half through Isaac Christmas with a chip shot that deceived the host's keeper. Both sides found it difficult to gain a foothold in a typically hard fought derby match. H.T. 0-1.
Whatever was said at half time in the Swan's dressing room had the desired effect in the second half when Paul Best doubled his side's lead 3 minutes after the restart with a neat finish following good work from Will Prior.
Ryan Moss broke his 6 year goal famine when he scored his first goal for The Swans with a sublime curling shot after beating 2 defenders, then Flo Bujour added 2 goals in 4 minutes with a penalty and a vicious shot from the edge of the box for numbers 4 and 5. Sam Peacock made it 6 of the best with a great finish just inside the box following a great run and cross from George Taylor.
Manager Andy Dunster was delighted with the performance and result of his improving side.
