Swans Reserves 0 Blandford United Reserves 1
Swans suffered a narrow 1-0 home defeat against Blandford United Reserves in Dorset League Division 1.
Swans had a golden chance to take the lead after 4 minutes when the lively Isaac Christmas was fouled by the Royal's keeper, however Flo Bujor hit the post with the resulting penalty.
Both sides found it difficult to master the bumpy pitch which resulted in very few chances being created, but Sam Peacock and the hard working George Sparrow produced good shots that went narrowly wide. H.T. 0-0.
Swans had the lion's share of possession in the second half and had a great chance of taking the lead but Charlie Dyke fluffed his lines following good work from Isaac Christmas. Swans looked comfortable in defence marshalled by the outstanding Taylor Hibbs, however the Swan's defence failed to deal with a cross and the visitor's forward Dan Vator looped his header over keeper Dan Beeston to take the lead which proved to be the winning goal. The Swans huffed and puffed in the last 10 minutes but failed to produce the elusive equalising goal.
