Reserves Narrow Defeat

Handley Sports 2 Swans Reserves 1

Swans Reserves suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Handley Sports in Dorset League Division 2.

Swans started poorly and keeper George Taylor produced a couple of fine saves and chances were squandered by the hosts. The Swans took the lead following a fine header from striker Sam Willcocks. Unfortunately due to a defensive error the hosts grabbed the leveller. H.T. 1-1.

Swans were much improved in the second half and created some good chances but were unable to convert and Cavendish had a great opportunity but was denied by the Handley keeper. Due to another defensive error Swans conceded an own goal to allow the hosts to take all 3 points.
