Swans unbeaten run continues..........

Dorchester Sports 2 Swans 2
Despite leading twice Swans had to settle for a point in this entertaining clash at The Avenue Stadium against Dorchester Sports in The Dorset Premier League.

Both sides looked very comfortable on the artificial 3G pitch with the Swans creating the better chances. Front man Daries caught the eye with some neat touches and along with Atkinson went close to opening the scoring, but it was top scorer Paul Best on 18 minutes who fired his side ahead from the edge of the box following good work from Daries and Dyke. Swans started overplaying in and around their own box and were punished when the hosts equalised on 35 minutes, however it was Paul Best again with his 15th league goal of the season a minute before half time to put his side ahead following good work from Dyke H.T. 1-2.

Swans lost Daries after 55 minutes through injury, this seemed to upset their rhythm and the hosts started to impose themselves on the game and equalised with a penalty. Best missed a great chance for his third when well placed and Atkinson was held back when clean through which was missed by the officials, however the hosts were imposing increasing pressure on the superb Swans rear guard, and had Godwin with a brilliant block and keeper Beeston who produced a string of superb saves to thank for the away point.

Swans are now unbeaten in 4 games and up to date this season have drawn 9 games (3 at home 6 away) following the previous season when no draws were registered.
