2-1 Day's Park defeat.........

Swans suffered a 2-1 Day's Park defeat against Sturminster Newton United in The Dorset Premier League.

Both sides struggled to get to grips with the difficult pitch and windy conditions, however Paul Best put his side ahead on 16 minutes with his thirteenth goal of the season from close range. The visitors went close on a couple of occasions but the Swans showed their intent with Cody Moore prominent in many of the attacking moves. Paul Best and Cody Moore went close for the Swans just before the interval. H.T. 1-0.

Keeper Ben Hodder produced a great save early in the second half but could do very little to prevent Ivan Ivanov equalising with a neat finish. Swans went close again with Paul Best just missing the target following good work from Aaron Atkinson and Cody Moore. Keeper Matt Robson produced a great save from Cam Barnes and although substitute Tommy Beard headed home he was ruled offside.

The visitors took the lead after 76 minutes when Harry Boulton hit a speculative cross which found it's way past keeper Ben Hodder. Swans had a great chance in the last minute to salvage a point but Tommy Beard shot wide following great work by Cody Moore.

This was the visitors first win in 10 games which proved to be a difficult and disappointing afternoon for The Swans.
