Swans snatched back The Jimmy Hollywood Cup from local rivals Corfe Castle at Day's Park with a 2-1 victory.
The first goal arrived after 3 minutes when Corfe's Ryan Cattano punished a weak back pass from Taylor Hibbs, who slotted passed the advancing keeper James Langdon. Swans regained their composure after the shock start and started to impose themselves on the visitors and equalised through skipper Paul Best with a shot from just inside the box. Swans were now on top and came close to their second goal when Joe Clark found Cody Rose-Moore with a pin point pass but the Corfe stopper Bradley Smith saved the shot with his legs. Paul Best completed his double to put his side ahead on 22 minutes side footing home following good work from Elliot Parslow. Joe Clark had a great chance to put the Swans further ahead but just missed the target. H.T. 2-1.
The second half was quite an even affair with both sides creating chances and keeper James Langdon had to produce a couple of smart saves. However Swans managed the game well to secure The Jimmy Hollywood Cup following last season's 3-1 defeat.
I'm sure if Jimmy was watching from above he would have enjoyed a great afternoon's football played by both sides.
