Swans secured 3 valuable points with a narrow 4-3 win as the two bottom sides locked horns at Day's Park in Dorset League Division 2.
Swans took an early lead, Sam Peacock heading home a superb cross from Furmage, however the visitors created and missed some great chances. Willcocks struck a fierce shot from long range which the visitor's keeper, Hall, tipped on to the bar. Piddlehinton equalised when Liam Watts scored from close range. Swans edged in front when Sam Willcocks coolly finished following a Furmage header. Willcocks was again denied by a great save from Hall who clawed his header away. H.T. 2-1.
Piddlehinton equalised then took the lead for the first time in the game with two quick goals. Swans applied the pressure and were awarded a penalty which Sam Willcocks confidently dispatched for the leveller. With time running out the hosts were duly rewarded with the points from an own goal by the visitors which lifted the Swans out of the relegation zone.
